Handmade Traditional Native American Drum - created by Sean Flanagan at Wahleah’s family’s Pueblo trading post. Sean carves drums from cottonwood trunks using traditional techniques taught from his uncles and grandfather. The skins are deer, elk or buffalo hide. He soaks them in water for two to three days before stretching and tying them. He then paints traditional Pueblo Indian designs passed on through the generations of 1000+ years
